More Doll Photos

I take a lot of pictures of dolls. Very often, when they first arrive, before they get their studio time, I shoot them with the iPhone. Sometimes the results are very good.

Using the iPhone's flash can be disastrous - those shots get the trash can. But when I manage to hold the phone at the right angle and the ambient light doesn't intefere, I get a good shot. I like to think a bit of skill is involved.

Dolls in the Phone

Because my photo studio is in the basement and my doll room is on the second floor, I have to carry my dolls downstairs to take pictures (with the DSLR.) However, I often put them on the buffet in the foyer for a short while and take pictures with the Phone.
